I’m looking for a flooring professional or carpenter to replace a damaged row of five-finger parquetry along a sliding door in my home. The entire strip (approx. 3m) has moisture damage. Instead of repairing the parquet, I’d like to remove that whole row and install one new timber plank or transition board running the full length of the door. Job includes removing the damaged parquet tiles in that one row, supplying a suitable timber plank or transition piece, cutting and installing securely, making sure it sits neat and flush with the existing floor (final sanding/finishing will be done when the whole floor is refinished in Feb).
