I’m looking for a carpenter or cabinet maker to build and install custom sliding pine doors for an angled loft / roof storage space. The opening is approximately 800mm high x 2300mm wide. The finished result should look similar to the reference photos attached, with clean timber / pine sliding panels across the front of the storage area. The job includes: • Measure and confirm the opening on site • Build a simple framed opening for the storage space • Build and fit sliding pine / plywood doors • Install a floor rail / sliding track system • Add a suitable top guide or support if needed • Build side return walls / end panels where required • Make sure the doors slide smoothly and are easy to remove or access • Finish neatly so it suits the existing pine-lined ceiling and loft area The space is under an angled ceiling, so the job will need someone comfortable with custom carpentry rather than standard flat-pack cabinetry. I’m after a practical, neat storage solution, not a high-end wardrobe finish. Happy for the doors to be made from pine ply or similar material, provided the final look is clean and simple. Photos attached show the actual space and examples of the finished result I’m aiming for. Price is for labour. I will pay for the materials you need to collect from Bunnings etc and give me receipt. Assemble and install IKEA kitchen cabinets - 8 cabinets on the bottom and 6 on the top. Install wooden bench top including cutting the opening for the kitchen sink. The front panel cover of my oven has the stainless steel front surface scratched and peeled away. It was from some wiping away of a baby safety lock glue with acid. I’ve tried all sorts of conservative measures like olive oil, toothpaste, etc and I’m not looking for any further advice about that. I wanted to have it formally polished or painted.
