I have six counter stools and feel they are too low for the bar area they sit at. The seat height is 64 cm and I think they need to be about 6-7 cm higher. As I really still like the stools I’m wondering if it’s possible to get a carpenter/furniture maker to raise them about 6-7 cm. So 24 legs in total! I am quite open to this would be done but the options include splicing extensions into the bottoms of the legs, or making timber leg extensions in a style that fits for example maybe more of a foot on the end.

Hello, I'm hoping to have someone build a very basic flat sleeping platform for my 2013 Toyota Prado. It just needs to be a flat wooden plank with legs that raise it above the flattened seats. I have a piece of hollow stainless steel tube (24 mm diameter and about 1 mm width) which I need cut in two pieces . Then another section of ( 24 mm diameter, 1.2 mm width 400 mm long ) stainless steel tube I need welded in between these two pieces. I have a Parrilla grill and want the axle/shaft lengthened. I have the steel piece but it needs to be cut back by 100mm as well. (Don’t know much about welding and whether anything else is needed, like an insert or something to wrap around it. Would need some advice on this.)

I have a glass sliding door going out to our back garden . It is about 205 cm height and 200cm wide. I want it removed and replaced with two (single glass panel ) French doors. Require removal and disposal of the aluminium sliding door and construction and fitting of the new doors. I also want door hardware installed (standard key lock lever style - we can supply) . I require standard door hinges on one door and wide throw hinges on the other door . Second pic is the existing door ( under the portico and to the left) and first is what I have in mind for the new doors and third is the type of hinges I have in mind for the one side ( to allow the door to open 180 degrees on the one side. The other side only needs to open 90 degrees).
