Hi, I’m looking for a cabinet maker / joinery specialist to build a custom reception counter for a commercial space. The design includes a curved front with vertical ribbed detailing and a clean modern finish. I can provide drawings with dimensions (approx. 1.10m height and 1.20m depth). Preferred finishes are light grey or black (matte). Could you please provide an estimate and let me know if this type of curved joinery is within your scope? Thank you!

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or glazier to help modernise a set of timber external French doors in my home in Highgate, Perth. The existing triple French door set (3-leaf, 3 swinging) are solid timber with multiple small glass panes (traditional French door style). I’d like to end up with clean, single-pane glass doors and I’m open to two options: Option A – Re-glaze existing doors - Remove existing small glass panes and timber muntins (?) - Modify the door frame as needed to take one large pane of safety glass per door leaf. - Supply and install appropriate toughened/safety glass to meet Australian standards for doors. - Make good around the frame (fill, sand) ready for me to paint/stain. Option B – Supply and install new full-lite doors - Recommend and supply new single-pane French door leaves (or similar full-glass doors) to suit existing frame. - Remove old doors. - Hang and fit new doors, including hardware. - Ensure doors are square, close smoothly, and seal properly. - I’m happy to handle final painting/staining if that helps keep costs down. Approx. details - Existing doors: timber French doors opening onto an alfresco area. - Total opening: 2500 mm (W) × 2050 mm (H) - Individual doors: 820 mm (W) × 2040 mm (H) - Access: easy ground-floor access, parking out the front. - budget flexible depending on scope - send your best offer.
