This is not a basic IKEA flat-pack job — it requires accurate alignment, secure fixing, and a clean, built-in finish suitable for a child’s room. Scope of work • Remove existing loft bed ladder • Assemble 3 × IKEA TROFAST frames (44 × 91 × 30 cm) • Configure frames into stepped storage stairs • Secure stairs to each other and wall (child-safe) • Assemble and install PLATSA unit (60 × 55 × 180 cm) • Wall-fix PLATSA unit • Align stairs correctly with loft bed platform • Optional add-on: fix timber or laminate tread panels to stair tops (quote separately) Required experience • Cabinet making, furniture installation, or advanced handyman work • Strong experience with IKEA systems (TROFAST / PLATSA) • Confident wall-fixing into studs / masonry • Safety-conscious work (this is for a child)

The existing triple French door set (3-leaf, 3 swinging) are solid timber with multiple small glass panes (traditional French door style). I’d like to end up with clean, single-pane glass doors and I’m open to two options: Option A – Re-glaze existing doors - Remove existing small glass panes and timber muntins (?) - Modify the door frame as needed to take one large pane of safety glass per door leaf. - Supply and install appropriate toughened/safety glass to meet Australian standards for doors. - Make good around the frame (fill, sand) ready for me to paint/stain. Option B – Supply and install new full-lite doors - Recommend and supply new single-pane French door leaves (or similar full-glass doors) to suit existing frame. - Remove old doors. - Hang and fit new doors, including hardware. - Ensure doors are square, close smoothly, and seal properly. - I’m happy to handle final painting/staining if that helps keep costs down. Exterior limestone walls require repointing and repair in some places, photos show main areas. Want to get wall back to original finish. Also some repointing required inside garage. I’m looking for a flooring professional or carpenter to replace a damaged row of five-finger parquetry along a sliding door in my home. The entire strip (approx. 3m) has moisture damage. Instead of repairing the parquet, I’d like to remove that whole row and install one new timber plank or transition board running the full length of the door. Job includes removing the damaged parquet tiles in that one row, supplying a suitable timber plank or transition piece, cutting and installing securely, making sure it sits neat and flush with the existing floor (final sanding/finishing will be done when the whole floor is refinished in Feb). Budget - I’ve set an initial offer, but I’m happy to receive offers based on what you think is a fair price 😊
