Older panel-lift garage door struggles to open — the motor strains and the door gets stuck partway up. Door fails the manual balance test (heavy to lift by hand, won’t hold at waist height), so I suspect the torsion spring has lost tension or needs replacing. Rollers and hinges look original and may need replacing too. The opener is an old Tilt-A-Matic TRV-300 chain drive that still works — happy for advice on whether it’s worth replacing while you’re there. Hi there, I’m looking at replacing all of my doors, I’ll purchase them and paint them, however I’m after someone that could install. I have 1 main external door, then 8 internal doors to change. How much would you charge for installation including cutting out the area for hinges, application and door knobs to be installed on them all too? Many thanks
