Hello There, My treadmill Proform( Nordic brand) has stopped working suddenly while I was running on it. When I opened it to check the fault I found red light flashing in the control board. The control board seems to be all right , so is the motor. Can anyone come and troubleshoot it.

I purchased a treadmill from marketplace knowing the matting needed “re-tensioning” which I thought easy enough, I could google it. Had managed to re-adjust the belt but then when I stood on it the belt no longer moved but the roller was still going. I then took the casing off that covers the motor etc in an attempt to adjust the belt from the top and in doing so noticed there was loose threads wrapped around the roller. Long story short I touched something which made the treadmill spark and now it won’t turn on at all. I’m way out of my depth here now. Looking like it’s upgraded to an electrical issue so will need someone who knows about electrics to help.
