The current PowerPoint is positioned off to the side and needs to be moved to sit directly behind where the mirror will be installed. Hi, I need help installing a 4.5 kg Westinghouse vented tumble dryer on a plasterboard wall. The model supports wall mounting and I have the official Westinghouse wall bracket kit. The wall sounds hollow, so I believe it’s plasterboard. I would like the dryer securely mounted using a horizontal timber batten fixed into studs (not just plasterboard anchors), and then the bracket attached to that. Scope includes: • Locate wall studs • Supply and fix a suitable timber batten (approx. 90 × 35 mm, 60–80 cm long) • Mount the supplied dryer bracket • Lift and secure the dryer onto the bracket Please bring your own tools and a stud finder. Batten can be supplied by you or I can buy one from Bunnings if needed – just let me know in advance. Looking for someone experienced with wall-mounted appliances and safe load-bearing installs.
