Hi. I need a tiler/handyman to: * Remove old tiles on an outdoor step; * Re-tile - both the step itself and the face of the step. The area to be tiled is small: about 1 square metre. The current tiles are slate. They are about 30cm (width) x 40 cm (length). I'm replacing them with an outdoor tile from Beaumont Tiles which is 30cm (width) x 60cm (length). My price is for your labour and tools (including cement and other materials required to do the job). You will also need drop sheets. I've just had the outdoor area pressure washed and don't want any stains or cement on the bricks. Only available this Wednesday (7 June) after 12pm. Thank you.

We want new tiles on our kitchen backsplash. We want to install white subway tiles in a herringbone style with either grey or white grouting (ideally we’d like to test both to see which looks best). At this stage there are exisiting tiles on the backsplash which my husband is planning to remove. However we would like two quotes if possible, one that includes existing tile removal and surface preparation and one that doesn’t. It is a large backsplash with 4 sides. All sides are 61cm high, except for the section which runs under the window that is only 5cm high. The lengths of each side is: 1. 60cm 2. 70cm + 191cm (this is the section which runs under the window and is only 5cms high) + 70cm (total 331cm) 3. 331.5cm 4. 148cms This totals to approximately 4.15sqm. We will supply the tiles and grouting, but you will need to supply the glue and tools. We have seen the tiles we like but are open to discussion with the tiler about what lengths work best for the herringbone style. Please ask for further information. It is preferable that this job be done on a Tuesday/Wednesday.

Looking for a tiler to regrout and reseal a 1.5m x 2.2m bathroom. The tiles on the floor and base of the walls are the worst, so the quote is just for those, but please indicate how much extra it'd be to do all the wall tiles. They go up to the roof, but they're very large tiles.
