We live in a rental that has no undercover outdoor area, so we want to build a free-standing pergola - either in the backyard OR even better would be off the back door in the side yard (photo attached) We are thinking we could clear the veggie patch and level it, add some decking pavers there to create an outdoor deck space (we would do this prior to you beginning work on assembling pergola). And then potentially do the old beams in buckets filled with concrete (so its not permanent or affixed to the property in an way), simple cross beams for roof and tin sheets. So maybe 3 hours labour for assembling the pergola. We are happy to supply all the materials needed, and also happy to assist labour wise. Looking for a quote from someone with experience in this kind of thing. Also, we are on a very tight budget

Need to build odd shaped door and partition wall with window to upstairs bedroom. Approx 2.5m x 2.5. Remove balustrade replace with pony wall and window. Install door at top of stairs. Built for sound reduction and privacy. $650 for labour, plus parts. Must be experienced and able to do complete job.
