Find experienced local roofers in Norwood SA

Our shower walls register 100% moisture reading, showing significant water ingress. Mandatory first step: You must engage a SA licensed plumber to conduct the plumbing pressure test and provide a formal written test report. The tiling & waterproofing renovation only proceeds IF the pressure test confirms NO hidden pipe leak. If pipe leakage is detected, the tiling project will be terminated. Only the cost for the pressure test will be paid as agreed. Full scope (activated only after passing pressure test): Remove old wall & floor tiles, substrate preparation, dual-coat waterproofing compliant with Australian AS3740 standard, install new tiles, replace metal drain, epoxy grout and silicone sealing. Non-Negotiable Requirements & Risk Controls 1. You must provide valid current Public Liability Insurance (Certificate of Currency) for our verification before accepting this task. 2. A formal Waterproofing Compliance Statement must be issued to us upon completion of tiling & waterproofing works. 3. On-site photos of every waterproofing layer must be taken and shared with us before tile installation for record keeping. 4. A written waterproofing warranty must be provided. 5. A 72-hour flood test will be carried out after completion. Final payment will only be released via Airtasker escrow once the flood test fully passes. No cash payments or private bank transfers. 6. If rotted timber framing or other hidden defects are uncovered after tile removal, all additional costs must be quoted in writing and approved by us in advance. No surprise unapproved extra charges. 7. The existing shower glass screen will be carefully dismantled. You acknowledge the risk of glass breakage during removal; any replacement cost for broken glass requires a separate written quotation.

Hi, I need an experienced carpenter or handyman to address timber maintenance at both the front and back of my house. Job Details: 1. BACK OF HOUSE: Removal: Remove the heavily weathered/rotted wooden fascia boards along the back roof line (approx. 2 main sections shown in pictures). Replacement: Supply and install new treated timber fascia boards. Sealing: Prime and paint the new boards to match/protect them, and ensure the top metal capping correctly sheds water to stop the leak staining the wall. 2. FRONT OF HOUSE: Prep & Paint: Scrape peeling paint, patch minor cracks/rot on the veranda beam, and apply primer plus 2 coats of exterior paint. Gutter Fix: Re-align/re-secure the sagging brown gutter so it drains correctly. ⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: The front veranda has live mains power lines anchored directly to the wooden beam. You must work safely around this bracket area. Please bring your own scaffolding, and tools. I have a ladder if needed. Let me know if your quote includes timber materials or if you prefer me to purchase them based on your measurements. Looking for a licensed or highly experienced professional. Thank you!
