I have a new rainwater tank that requires plumbing into an existing system. 1. Join this tank to an existing tank (cross leveled, possibly require a non return valve in between) 2. Install new gutter feed with strainer and first flush filter (or give me advice on how to keep this tank as clean and sediment free as possible) Not rushing, in fact the slab is only about 3 weeks old so it's probably not ready for the full weight of a full 5700L tank.

Hello, I have a Rheem Metro Plus continuous gas hot water system and my house is based in Casey. The hot water cuts out mid-shower and turns cold and I notice the water flow sometimes drops at the same time. Hot water comes back only after I turn the shower off and back on, or turn it to full hot. I would like a diagnostic service first, how much do you charge for this? My suspicion is possibly minimum flow shutdown issues, so am thinking of doing these: – Cleaning the cold-water inlet filter – Checking minimum flow rate through the unit – Inspecting the tempering/thermostatic valve – Checking for scale or flow restriction in the system But, also happy to hear your suggestions after you have had a look.
