Repair leaking shower, it is an older style integrated shower.

The shower is a quarter-turn tap and it continues to drip when the tap is fully closed, so I believe the ceramic cartridge needs replacing. I have had a quick look myself (not a professional), and it appears the bathroom renovation (done before I purchased the house) may have left the tiles very close around the tap assembly, which could make accessing the cartridge more difficult than usual. Could you please provide a quote and let me know if you anticipate any issues accessing and replacing the cartridge? Only the hot-water tap is causing the issue but it might be worthwhile to replace both. Thanks.

Excavate down to and expose existing drainage. Once exposed, cut out faulty junction in drain. Install new PVC junction and pipework, connect and seal. Backfill around new work to support. Continue backfilling and consolidating trench. Restore surface as close to original as possible. To supply labour and materials to replace existing 100mm pipe 600mm depth. This includes the first 3 meters and an inspection opening. Excavate down to and expose existing drainage. Once exposed, cut out faulty 3m section of drain. Install new PVC pipework, connect and seal. Raise access to surface and terminate with collar and grate. Backfill around new work to support. Continue backfilling and consolidating trench. Restore surface as close to original as possible.
