Hi there, We are seeking quotes for a wall repair job at our home in Maroubra, Sydney. We have recently removed an old air conditioning unit, which has left holes in our internal lounge room wall and the external brick wall. We require a skilled and licensed professional to complete the repairs to a "ready-to-paint" standard. We will be doing the painting ourselves. Please see the detailed scope of work below. Photos are attached for your reference. Scope of Works 1. Internal Wall - Lounge Room (Plaster over Brick) • Affected Area: An area of approximately 0.8m x 0.3m requires attention. • Large Hole: Patch and fill a hole measuring approximately 15cm x8cm • Small Holes: Fill approximately 10 small screw holes within the same area. • Required Finish: The entire repaired area needs to be plastered, feathered, sanded smooth, and left ready for us to prime and paint. The finish should blend seamlessly with the existing wall. 2. External Wall (Brickwork) • Large Hole: Fill the corresponding hole in the external brickwork, measuring approximately 15cm x 8cm • Required Finish: The hole should be filled appropriately (e.g., with mortar or a suitable exterior filler) so that the repair is flush and level with the surrounding brickwork. The surface should be finished so it is ready for us to prime and paint. Please Note: • Painting is not required. The job is complete once all surfaces are filled, sanded, and ready for painting. • We will ensure the work area is clear and accessible. We need a small two bedroom unit painted inside.  The walls are cement and plasterboard (I think) and the skirting is timber. The bathroom only needs the internal timber moulding around the window, and the door and door jam painted - the tiles reach the ceiling. There are a few holes to fill and some nails and hooks to removed prior to painting which I cannot reach. There are six venetian blinds that need removing for painting which I cannot reach. The actual windows are not included as they are the body corporate responsibility but around the inside of the window frames needs to be painted. There are two bedroom doors and inside of the front door. The property is furnished and occupied. It is easy to move the furniture and stuff into the middle of the room. There are no built in wardrobes as shown on the diagram. The ceiling down lights need to be popped out for painting. Will you remove power points and light switch covers or protect with painters tape? We don't want them painted in. There is also a ceiling fan, ceiling light and smoke alarm which must not be painted in. We are thinking the Dulux Lexicon Quarter White color - a cool white? We are looking to get a quote for painting the ceilings in 3 rooms and a short hallway of our 2 bedroom apartment. The ceiling is currently black and we want to change it to white. Will require, sanding, cleaning and primer prior to painting. The rooms are our lounge room which is quite large, small kitchen and small bedroom. Kitchen is approx 5x2m, lounge room approx 6x 5m, hallway is approx 2x1m, bedroom is approx 3.5x3m. We are located in Maroubra and flexible with timing. We are currently living in our apartment so it is filled with our belongings, so looking for someone who is able to do the job but also make sure everything is protected while painting and clean up afterwards. Plaster repair and paint water stains on ceiling in 3 areas and small defects on wall in 2 spots

I have a wooden buffet that I have painted in chalk paint but would now like to remove it and take it back to its original wooden condition. I did make an attempt to start but I fear I do not have the experience to remove the paint without potentially damaging the surface. Would like for someone with experience to complete the job. I have a kangaroo fur coat that I have been trying to put kangaroo fur in the inside of. I am no tailor and have been doing it dodgy by hand. I’m a bit out of my depth now. I have a very old concrete pool, there is no paint off it. It is being drained and acid washed today and Monday. It is about 8M long X 3.5 meters wide and 2 meters deep at the deep end. The ceiling in bathroom needs to have mould removed. Including the walls where it is coming down the sides. The ceiling is quite low and the bathroom is quite small. The room is approx. 2.5m x 3.5m I would like to have it ready to paint after the clean. Flexible with dates.
