Need help putting up around 18 Ikea curtain brackets on the wall at home. The brackets need to be put up at the top of wall so that we can hang floor to ceiling curtains. Ideally need to be added to the studs for maximum support.

Looking to have old decorative cornices removed and replaced with new plain modern ones. One room only (living room). Rough size of the room is 5.5x6. I have decommissioned my gas ducted heating and want to have the wall vent removed and plastered over. It goes into the linen cupboard and there’s a box over it in the cupboard that I want removed and there would be a hole in the floor to cover over, as the ducted heating was under the house. In my garage the plaster is coming away between the ceiling and the brick wall on one side, which requires repair. Water leaked down through it one time when it rained but since clearing the gutter out it hasn’t happened again. (I am open to this not being part of the task if I actually need a roofer) Other smaller bits of replastering: - Looking to have an old wall mounted heating control unit and phone line outlet removed and replastered over. - hole where old light fitting used to be - hole from I presume where an old doorbell unit once was - holes from where towel rail was moved While it would be cool to get the job done before the long weekend is through it can be done at a later date.

One end of a Roman curtain rod in my bedroom has come off the wall (likely due to loose wall plugs or screws). The other side is still attached. I need someone to re-secure the fallen end properly – drilling into brick or masonry may be required. Please bring your own drill, screws, wall plugs, and a ladder (approx. 2.4m ceiling). Quick job for someone with the right tools.

So this is a sideyard fence gate. It has always been troublesome and is now stuck/jammed due to the movable wooden block at the bottom. We need help for someone to fix this and hopefully improve the locking mechanism so this hate can be operated without issues.
