I'm looking for someone with the correct tools and experience to ensure a clean, professional finish. This is not a job for someone learning on the go. The job includes: • Carefully remove the existing door without damaging the hinges, as these will be reused. • Remove and keep the existing hinges. • Drill out and transfer the metal house number from the old door to the new door. • Remove the existing deadlock from the old door. • Accurately cut and mortise the new door to suit the existing deadlock. • Bore and fit the hole for a new door knob (door knob supplied by me). • Install the new door, ensuring correct alignment, smooth operation, and even gaps. • Refit the existing hardware and ensure the door latches and locks correctly. When making an offer, please confirm that you have the appropriate tools for this work, including a router or mortising tools, hole saws/door lock installation kit, sharp chisels, drill, and any other equipment required to achieve a professional result. Looking for a handyman to do two quick small repair jobs on one 3.6m long bedroom wall: Skirting Board Supply & Installation: One wall is missing about 3/4 of its skirting board. I need the remaining small piece removed and put in the gap on the left wall, and 1 single, continuous new length of skirting board supplied, cut, painted and installed across the full length of the wall so it looks seamless. Wall Patching: There are two holes in the plasterboard wall, each slightly larger than a standard double power point. These need to be securely patched, filled, and sanded back flush, and painted. The powerpoints in the pics have been removed. I don't have any material or tools etc, but can get matching paint if that helps to have it ready when you arrive.
