Find an experienced handyman in Hawthorn East

Hi! I’m located in Hawthorn East and looking for someone to fix a gap between my front door and the frame. The job involves cutting and gluing a timber strip that matches the shape of the gap to ensure a better seal.

I had removalists yesterday and they knocked over one of my timber candleabras and broke it. The top piece fits perfectly and needs to be glued with timber glue and the middle has cracked and is unstable and would need to be glued as well. I would also like the middle be touched up with gold and black paint. It should take very long but I just don’t have the equipment to fix it and I’m moving out and need it fixed as soon as possible as it is unstable.

Needing something to help with noise travelling through a temporary partition wall between bedrooms.

Need to fix door handles on both sides of the door.

There is a tiny hole on the wall and door, I want to fix that.

Kitchen pipe is leaking, water coming out of pipe. Has to be at 12pm-2pm.

Ned the handyman to install curtain rods. We want to make sure that it's not drilled into existing wiring or anything else.

There is a hole in the gutter down pipe that needs patching with silicon. Need a ladder to get to the pipe.

The front shop door has sunk a little bit and is touching the floor when opening and closing.

I’m looking for someone who can complete the following tasks around my house: -paint around the fireplace where there was water damage (we have the paint) -fix seal at the bottom of shower door, or provide and install a new one -re-glue piece on vanity that has come off -remove mirror that’s been attached to the wall -remove photo from wall that has a fixture that was drilled in

Remove window frame. Replace rotten timber along the bottom of the window frame, paint and reinstall window. This job would suit an experienced handyman or carpenter. Matching paint would be provided.

Moving in this afternoon after 3.30 Need a shelf pulled down to get my washing machine in

Our towel rail has come loose from the wall - looking for an airtakser to reattach it. The task can be completed Friday or over the weekend.

When pulling up the chain beads get caught. Pulls down ok

A rivet has sheared off a bracket causing my window to drop. Also won’t close properly now. Very straight forward job to replace the rivet. Will need 3/16, maybe 1/4 Photos show the one that is broken and the other photo shows what it should look like

Leaking at corner of one spout , that I can see, possibly test others please. Photo is the best I could do, the spouts are black on black

As per council inspector, I need to reduce the gap between the gate and the glass panel to not more than 10mm. The pictures are attached. The current gap is closer to 20 mm. The next inspection in on Friday 28th March, so I'd like the work done with time to spare.

Two wooden doors and a screen door aren’t sliding properly. I would like these realigned. One door latch is also stuck and I would like it released.

Reattach lattice to brick wall that has come loose. Holes are already drilled into the wall, need 3 wooden stakes reattached to wall with screws and ensure it’s secure. Will need to work around a spa and garden bed with trees
