Find an experienced handyman in Beulah Park

Nylex retractable hose is jammed stuck. We have removed from the wall fixture but need the casing opened and jammed hose fixed, then reassembled and mounted back on brick wall

1. I recently had new carpet installed in one room, which is thicker than the previous carpet. The bottom of the door needs to be trimmed slightly so it doesn't wear down the carpet. 2. The handle on my kitchen drawer is loose and needs reconnecting. 3. The hinge inside a kitchen cupboard has snapped and needs replacing. I can provide any small items necessary (eg a new hinge), if I'm told what I need to buy. I don't have the necessary equipment to plane a door. Jobs 2 and 3 are likely quite straight forward. I've just bought a drill, so I'd appreciate if you could teach me as you're going, so I can learn do these things myself!

I have a wooden door that needs a cat door installed into it. I have purchased the cat door already. I had a guy coming to do the job, he installed the first one in the screen door but he didn’t turn up this time. The wooden door is solid on outside and not so much on the inner “window” bit where the cat door needs to go. Thank you!

1 screen door requires screen mesh to be installed. 1 double door (wood frame) requires fly screen mesh to be installed. Material to be provided by the installer.

I need to install a cat door in my external aluminium screen door. Door will be provided. Photos are of the front door but it’s the same as the back door

Install a 2.4m outdoor blind at the end of a verandah. This will only be in place temporarily, but some care needs to be taken at install as the original verandah is heritage timber. Remove old shower screen. Supply and install new shower screen. I prefer the cheapest style of shower screen, as the property is a rental.

I have the doors,architrave and door hardware. Have been let down by the carpenter who was to do the job and the tiler is coming in on Thursday.
