Looking for a reliable roofer or handyman to sort out a few roofing issues at my property. Jobs to be done: • Fix 4 cracked ridge cap tiles (needs repointing with UV-resistant flexible compound) • Replace one deteriorated tile around the old antenna (Dec tite type) • Seal a leaking rear awning gutter (needs UV-resistant clear silicone or similar) Additional requirements: • Will need safe roof access (anchor points or similar as per safety standards) • Clean and prep areas before repair • Remove and dispose of old materials (antenna tile etc.) • Site to be left clean and tidy after the job

Need to replace the second floor gutter

Need someone to go up on a ladder on every corner of the gutters and apply some sort of silicone to cover the rusted holes as a short term solution for the next few months. Handyman might know best idea here. Just need a cheap quick fix. Supply your own material, tools and ladder.

Concrete slab above front porch: The concrete slab over the front porch has recently been re-rendered with an acrylic render. This needs to be sealed and waterproofed on the top, bottom and sides. Total area is approximately 10 square metres. Clean any loose material off top of slab. Apply primer. Apply 2 coats of membrane paint to seal and waterproof the render. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield (or similar) in cream, middle strip on sides is mission brown. Lintels and handrail: There are two lintels above the front porch, one lintel above the rear garage door and a steel or wrought iron handrail on the front porch. Sand surface rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. This may require a power tool (hand drill or angle grinder) with wire wheel/brush attachments. Apply rust converter, such as Killrust Rust-Eeter or similar. Apply rust-inhibiting primer, such as Killrust Heavy Duty Primer or similar. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield (or similar) in mission brown. Lintel under front bedroom window: There is one galvanised iron lintel under the front bedroom window that has never been painted. Apply metal primer. Apply two coats of Dulux Weathershield (or similar) in mission brown. Guttering: The guttering around the house and the rear of the garage is badly stained Colorbond. There are also four downpipes, but these are generally clean. Clean any moss and loose surface dirt. Apply two coats of Dulux Weathershield (or something else appropriate) in mission brown. Eaves: The eaves around the house and the rear of the garage look like they've never been painted. Clean eaves. Apply two coats of Dulux Weathershield (or similar) in off-white, low-sheen finish. Woodwork: The woodwork at the rear of the house is badly weathered. This includes the vertical wood panelling above the sliding glass doors and window, and other framework. Sand back. Apply wood primer. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield (or similar) in mission brown.

Hi guys, I need 2 gutter corners replaced, the gutter is rusted so the corners don’t cover the gutter, this means i will need 2 joiners each side and then the new corners put in.

Hi guys, I need a Roofer, Carpenter or skilled handyman to install a polycarbonate roof and gutter on a pergola in Bexley. I have all the materials, just waiting on the gutter. Just labour price. Rough measurements are 10m across 4m deep and the shallow part is 1.2m deep. It is 2nd storey and half sits above a pool so have to be comfortable with heights. I have mobile scaffold if required and can assist in the installation so please quote for labour only to remove existing and install new. The leak from the gutters over my outdoor covered area get severely drenched with any rain and that goes on to cause flooding in the yard. I need the gutter moved somewhat to better line up with the drain and the drain may need attention as well
