When the old benchtops and cooktop were removed, I discovered there wasn’t an actual power socket in place — the cord was simply running up into the wall cavity (apparently well over a metre). Pictures of new one attached too. The cut out required 45mm (Height ) * 850mm*490mm. Current overall Product dimensions: 44*895*55 NEW Overall Product dimensions : 59*918*546 Would this work without the cutout?

Posting this for my mom, her gas stove top stopped I have taken the old one out and put the new one in place in the bench top. I just need somebody to come out and connect the stove top gas hose to the gas outlet underneath the bench as per what is required by law. All other work is done it just the connect and test for leaks that is required. Mom is on a pension so looking for the best price for her so she can cook again.
