Hello I currently have a gas hob and oven connected to the mains gas meter at my property. As I will be having the mains gas disconnected, I would like to keep using my existing oven and hob by converting them to run on a cylinder gas supply. The cylinder would be housed outside the property, and I am seeking a quote for the supply and installation of the necessary fittings, as well as any compliance certification required. Replaced with a Rheem 26L Gas Continuous flow water heater: 50c model The gas connection will need to be increased from the meter from Rp ½ to Rp ¾ The new system is to be located in the same position as the existing, resulting in minimal pipe work aside from lifting the gas / water pipe work by approximately 1.6m The gas pipe from the meter will need to be changed from ½ to ¾ diameter over a length of 5 meters. The photo shows that the surface to be opened is soil and stones. There are no obstructions making it easy to replace the existing Rp ½ gas pipe.
