Wife bought me a family q Webber bbq and put it together with her son as a surprise but unfortunately she got the wrong one so need to change it from NG to bottle gas.

Will be demolishing my kitchen to renovate and need the gas line to the cook top capped off. I will be installing a freestanding one afterwards so there will be reconnection later.

We had the gas turned off at the mains for a few months. Gas hot water system is turned off/pilot off. Gas mains is back on now, so we need someone to come start/ignite the hot water system. Should be a 10 minute job for someone who knows what they're doing. Photos of system attached.

Disconnect old gas heater. Cap gas line. No need to remove old heater. Further clarification: the gas would need to be disconnected under the house as I'd like to use the fireplace in future. The mains gas goes under the house which has access as seen in the photos.

Gas mate heater lights up and operates under 1 minute, it shuts down gas.

Gas pipe to be removed that was for old heater. Length of pipe is a meter long. Access is easy very close to entry to under the house. I no longer want a pipe protruding through the plaster.
