Looking for someone to come into our apartment and rip up the old carpet. The apartment in our place is peeling up at the edges of some of our rooms and needs to be ripped out. We plan to assess the flooring underneath (we think there are timber floors underneath) and hopefully fix up the flooring (sanding, staining, etc) to a restored condition. The apartment is 2 bedrooms, with a living area and hallway which are all carpeted. The dining room is lino, we would want this removed also. Looking to get some quotes on price of this. we have 2x ikea PAX wardrobes that need to be assembled over the weekend. The project will probably require skirting board removal for 2 walls and in the main bedroom there might be a need to modify the door frame to ensure the wardrobes are flushed. We have recently moved back into our house and need help cutting and laying floor tiles in our garage. The garage / store room is located beneath our main house and is 16sqm (see photograph) The tiles are a hard wearing plastic suitable for garage locations with a simple click system for installation - see website - https://connectflooring.com.au/collections/connecttile/products/connecttile-garage-floor-tile-slate-grey The tiles are 40cm x 40cm (see photograph of example installation) For a professional finish, the chosen Contractor will need the tools to accurately cut the tiles to fit around the edges of the room and to size accordingly. I am available to support this task but do not have the tools to support the accurate cutting of plastic tiles.

Water was trapped under a chair which left damage on floor boards. Tried to fix with bicarbonate slurry but it made it worse. Floors need sanding and re-varnishing to match surrounding floorboards.
