Looking to have someone help me install acoustic underlay and floating timber flooring in my apartment unit. Two bedrooms, living room, and hallway connecting the two. About 60sqm I would say. We would need to install it quietly so as to not disturb the neighbors and do cutting in my garage. I can install skirting trim after myself. Would need someone with experience installing flooring. We've recently removed some carpet near our staircase and uncovered hardwood floorboards (approx. 1000mm x 1040mm). Unlike the rest of the hallway, this section hasn't been sanded or polished. We're looking for someone to sand back the wood, stain and finish (lacquer/deal/protect) this small area so it blends in with the surrounding floorboards as closely as possible. We're aware the colour may not be a perfect match, and that's completely fine. Please note that you'll need to supply your own tools and materials, as we don't have any available. We have a few spots where our rabbit did his business and left stains on the polished wooden floorboards. We have been unable to remove easily, so I think it will need sanding and re-polish. Approx 4 separate spots, about 15cm diameter each spot.

We have old lino floors in our kitchen which we want to remove and get back to the wood floor underneath. There is a rubber underlay under the lino which is stuck down. We aren’t removing our kitchen cabinets etc, so it’s really only a 12-15m2 space that needs to be completed. The floor will need to be sanded and refinished. We are re-doing our kitchen and have removed the floor tiles. There is original timber flooring through most of the kitchen, with some protruding nails.
