I’m looking for an experienced flooring professional to supply and install herringbone spc (tongue and groove) floorboards in a residential property. The total area is approximately 55 square metres. Around 21 square metres of the space is currently carpeted, which will need to be removed and the subfloor screeded and levelled so it aligns with the height of the existing tiled flooring. The remaining area will be installed directly over the existing floor tiles. The job includes full floor preparation, supply of materials, and installation in a herringbone pattern, so prior experience with herringbone layouts is essential. The property is currently occupied. Please provide a quote that includes materials, labour, carpet removal, screeding, and an estimated timeframe. Photos and a site inspection can be provided if required. We are gradually removing carpet and laying floorboards through our home. We have a small wardrobe that has the skirting boards previously nailed and glued to the wall. We need them removed and floor boards (supplied) to be installed. Skirting seems to rip off wall due to glue so will need to be someone who can repair large holes in wall.

I am not sure what to do about this flooring. I have been told concrete looks to have a top coating so epoxy not really an option. Lots of cracks see attached photo. I am only in the store for 12 months, would like advice on whether Iaminated flooring or to fix the cocrete/epoxy it is the best option. I want to lay some carpet into a rental property we have rented for nine months. There are two rooms one is smaller than 5 x 4 m and the other one is smaller than 4 x 3 m and sit adjacent to each other. The timber surrounding and underlay are good as is and I’ve ripped up the existing carpet and have 2 rolls of suitable size from a knockdown rebuild that is only three years old. Im happy for a rate for tasks as above or hourly rate.
