My ducted heating system works in all rooms except the kitchen. The heater unit is functioning normally — the issue is isolated to the under‑floor duct feeding the kitchen floor vent. I have removed the kitchen floor grille and confirmed the problem: The duct has completely come off the floor boot, and I can see the ground below. This needs to be reconnected and secured properly. Scope of Work: Access the kitchen floor vent (grille already removable) Access under the house Locate the disconnected duct Reconnect the duct securely to the floor boot Seal and secure the joint using clamps + foil duct tape Check for tears, sagging, or damage in the duct run Restore proper airflow to the kitchen vent Provide photos of the completed repair Notes: Under‑floor access is available No gas or electrical work required — ducting only The required fittings to reconnect should be provided. Photos of the vent opening are attached Should be a straightforward reconnection job for someone experienced with ducted heating

Carpet repair after floor install, details see pic. Need to fix the gap.

1. ( 3 doors) I would like to install a proper transition trim between the carpet and the timber floor. I don’t want visible nails or screws. It needs to be clean, flush and professionally finished. The carpet edge must be securely stretched and tucked in, with no lifting or gaps. Please use a concealed fixing method or a professional transition strip system. 2. ( two wardrobes) Around the new wardrobe, the carpet needs to be properly repaired and refitted. The carpet should be re-stretched and neatly cut to fit tight against the wardrobe base. No gaps, no loose edges, and no fraying. If needed, please install new tack strips and re-secure the carpet properly.

We have installed hybrid floors DIY. The surface underneath was uneven so we have placed gym rubber mats underneath to her the level. The hybrid planks did not have gaps when installed but have since developed gaps. I need someone to fix the gaps. Also, I did not have the tool to cut the planks in half horizontally so about 10 linear meters is not done on the edge and I need the tasker to do that.

Staircase and surrounding on top floor

I got laminate flooring and it has developed some gaps in some areas and help is required to fix that, I have replacement flooring with me as stock
