Scope of works: • Inspect existing timber floorboards. • Carefully remove water-damaged/stained boards in hallway. • Remove matching donor boards from nearby cupboard/robe area (hidden location). • Install donor boards into hallway to achieve best possible colour and timber match. • Install suitable replacement boards into cupboard area. • Secure boards correctly and ensure floor is level. • Minimise damage to surrounding boards during removal. • Fill nail holes and prepare repaired area ready for sanding/finishing. • Advise whether spot sanding/coating or larger area sanding is recommended. Important: • Existing floorboards are older face-nailed timber flooring. • Water staining has penetrated deeply and sanding alone has not restored the boards. • Looking for a neat repair using timber from the cupboard to achieve the closest possible match. • Please have experience with timber floor repairs and board replacement (not laminate/floating floors). We need help to remove current slate flooring in the living and kitchen area. The slate is on top of a cement layer which is on top of a protective layer and below is the original timber floor. We want to remove the slate floors so we can polish the floor boards underneath. There are areas that need cutting into especially along the edges of the wall or cabinet. Hello, I removed two built-in drawers in my apartment bedrooms & now need to cover the patch where they were with carpet to match the rest of the room. I have both the carpet & underlay from the living room (where I have removed the carpet) - I just need someone to install it.

I have a 2-in-1 job that I need help with. I have a section of laminate flooring in my living room that has swelled and cracked due to water damage from under the boards. The water appears to be leaking in from the window frame area, however it's difficult to be sure. The window outside appears to have several gaps where water may be entering from. The job would be to first find and patch the leaky area, then make sure it's sealed properly (we've had this issue before). After we're confident the leak is gone, we would need to replace a 1.5m x 1.5m section of the laminate flooring, and replace it with panels that match the existing color as closely as possible (it's fine if it's not exact, but we want it to be as close as possible). We'd want a handyman who has done work like this before so we can be confident that we will fix the problem once and for all.
