Looking for a handy and practical person to help install a Pingg-String fence barrier system on top of my existing backyard fence. This is a safe, low-voltage pet containment system designed for dogs/cats — not a farm electric fence. Manufacturer instructions will be provided. Scope of Works * Install fence barrier along existing timber fencing * Mount end posts and support brackets * Run and tension the fence wires * Connect cables between sections/gates if required * Connect and test the energiser Important Note I (Michael) will be onsite helping throughout the install, as parts of the job are easier with two people — especially running and tensioning the wires. This would suit someone practical, patient and reasonably handy with tools rather than needing a specialised tradesperson.

We need the old wooden fence removed and disposed of as it’s not functional. Following that, we would like a new fence with gated access installed and aligned to the front of the house. Fence should be tall enough to prevent family dog from jumping over. We don’t have a preference on material (wood, colourbond) just looking for the cheapest option.

INSTALL NEW FENCE ABOUT 5.5M LONG REPAIR SOME AREA. PHOTO ATTACHED.

I have a metal side gate where the latch/bolt goes into a brick wall. The brick has worn out and been patched previously and the bolt can now be forced out, wearing away the brick. I need a proper, long-lasting fix. I believe we need to drill into the brick and install a steel receiver/sleeve (tube) for the bolt or something similar to fix the issue. Open to other ideas!
