Looking for a licensed electrician for a few small electrical tasks in a restaurant fit-out (not a major project): Kitchen area: Install several double wall sockets Connect power to canopy (exhaust hood) Relocate existing rangehood wiring to suit dishwasher placement Install one heat lamp Front of house: Install a few wall sockets Install ceiling pendant lights (x6-8) Install a 4 small lightboxes on the wall All fittings and appliances are on site. Tasks are straightforward and not part of a large-scale renovation. Please quote for the whole job or hourly if preferred. Ideal for someone looking to fill a half-day.

Currently, 5 of the downlights are hardwired. I would need to remove each downlights and connect one surface socket plug for each cable. The surface socket plug would have to be small enough to fit the recess which is pretty tight. The first two photos are the old downlights. The second photo is the new downlight.

Need to install 2 dimmer switches in the living room. Down lights have actec dimming led driver. Two switches in the photos are for two sets of lights.

Change 9 x ceiling gu5.3 fittings to gu10. Add a power outlet in backyard for pond pump etc. Change a single GPO in bathroom to double. Replace a few light switches that seem to be popping out a bit.

Electrical job to replace a wired in downlight

***Location is in Northcote, Airtasker had an error code when trying to add correct location. 1 ceiling light in loungeroom and intercom also located in loungeroom area is currently off. I believe it’s a loose wire issue as suggested by brother in law that is an electrician but unavailable today as the light has been turning on & off for a few years now but we’ve just tolerated it but now light won’t turn on at all and the intercom has gone with it. Light globe has already been replaced. Would like someone to attend asap please. Thanks in advance, Cathy

New light fitting installed to existing wiring but dimmer switch not activating

Need an electrician to remove this fluorescent light in the kitchen and replace with a kitchen pendant. I haven’t sourced the pendant yet - looking for ideas don’t want to spend too much on the pendant. Can someone please help

External shutter on upstairs window was removed and then refitted when we had our weatherboards replaced. We've since discovered two problems: 1) The frame of the shutter has been put back higher than it should be, this stops us from opening the window 2) The roller is stuck in the closed position and will not open. I can hear the motor trying but there's no movement. The external window/shutter is located on the first floor of a townhouse, access via ladder. Note roof is tiled so caution is required.
