Install the Deta Grid Connect Smart Inline Switch (Model 0098816) in-line with the active wire of the appliance or circuit being controlled (e.g. lighting, exhaust fan). This device is hardwired and must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with Australian electrical standards. Ensure power is isolated at the switchboard before starting. Connect the active input (L IN) and active output (L OUT) to the corresponding terminals on the switch. Neutral and earth terminals must also be securely connected. Mount the unit in a suitable junction box or ceiling space, ensuring it is protected and not exposed to moisture.
