A door lock that has a handle from the inside of the house and a key from the outside. Of course, part of the work has already been done. A small part of the door needs to be cut out from the outside

Easy task for someone with carpentry experience. We can’t for the life of us get the guide screw to go through the handle, then the door, then the other side handle, then line up with the bolt type end to actually tightly fix the door handles onto this door. Help!

Hi, I’m looking for someone to urgently install a privacy lock or handle set on an internal bedroom door with a narrow architrave. The job is located in Currumbin Waters, and I can be there to provide access tomorrow (Wednesday) between 11 AM and 2 PM or Thursday morning before 11 AM. The lock needs to be installed as part of a home safety plan. The door hardware may need to be replaced entirely with a unit that includes a built-in lock (like an Ikonic turnsnib).
