Hi, Our curtain rod has come off the wall and left a small hole in the plasterboard (see attached photo). The damaged area is approximately 5–6 cm wide. We’d like someone to repair the plasterboard, securely reinstall the curtain rod, and ensure it’s properly fixed so it doesn’t come loose again. I am looking for an experienced curtain installer or professional handyman to install 6 double curtain rod sets in my brand-new home. The job consists of: 4 large heavy-duty double curtain rod sets purchased from Amazon (KAMANINA brand – similar to the attached product photo). 2 smaller double curtain rod sets purchased from Spotlight. All curtain rods are adjustable/telescopic and are for installing both sheer and blockout curtains. The installer should bring all professional tools required, including a drill, stud finder, spirit or laser level, appropriate drill bits, wall anchors and fixings if required. I would prefer the brackets to be fixed into studs wherever possible, otherwise suitable wall anchors should be used. I am looking for someone who has previous experience installing curtain rods and who takes pride in producing a neat, level and professional finish. Consistent positioning and alignment across all rooms is important. Important information about the walls: In two rooms, I temporarily used adhesive hooks to hang curtains while waiting for the curtain rods to arrive. Unfortunately, when removing or using these hooks, a small amount of paint lifted in a few places. In one location, I also accidentally used a small amount of super glue, which is still attached to the wall. I am NOT asking for paint repair, plaster repair, removal of the super glue or removal of the adhesive hooks as part of this job. The photos are attached purely so that you are aware of the existing wall condition before accepting the task. The installer simply needs to be experienced enough to work around these areas carefully and install the curtain rod brackets without causing any additional damage.

I’m happy to pay $200 if you can do the job. I only have paint, you will need to bring in anything else you need to fix the wall.

I really need help to tidy up this mess ASAP! We need someone to install these curtain brackets properly and patch these holes in our drywall, it’s a mess! We have 4 sets of curtain rods that need raising roughly 4cm. Ive been told they apparently need 5mm nylon anchors to install into the brick. :)
