I need an experienced cabinetmaker/handyperson to fix an overhead kitchen cabinet. It’s a wall‑mounted overhead cabinet with a single lift‑up/flip‑up door that was removed and fitted with the wrong hinges, so it’s been off for a while. The door is fairly heavy, so it will need suitable lift‑up hinges or flap stays that can safely support the weight. The job includes: - Removing the incorrect hinges/plates currently attached to the door - Repairing and filling existing screw holes, including holes drilled right through the cabinet sides into the shelves of the neighbouring cupboards, and making these as neat and discreet as possible - Supplying and installing the correct heavy‑duty lift‑up hinges or flap stays (and any mounting plates) so the door opens upwards and stays open safely - Rehanging and aligning the door so it sits straight and flush with the adjacent cupboards - Checking that the door opens, stays up and closes smoothly

Looking for someone to create a simple timber base/plinth around the perimeter of my couch, adding more height and stability. It is currently very low to the ground and ideally I’d like to raise it by 100-150mm. Only some of the existing feet are interchangeable so finding new feet isn’t an option as it leaves the couch unbalanced. I don’t need the chase section to be interchangeable for the room so the bracket can be fixed. Neat timber/pine is ideal, it doesn’t need to be painted. Couch dimensions in photos.

Tasks include: • Install new skirting boards along the wall (approximately X metres) • Hide or tidy the existing cables along the wall • Patch and touch up the lower wall area if required before installing the skirting • Ensure a clean finish between the wall and the timber floor The floor is newly installed so care is required to avoid scratches. I wanted to build a custom hardwood study and work desk so i bought everything and cut all the pieces to lenght, but got sidetracked and lost motivation and energy to complete it. Need to put the drawer faces on, fix the slides, push to open, sand , screw top down, remove live edge with chisel, i have osmo wax black and clear the base and drawers will be osmo black finished. Looking for a skilled chippy on hourly that can help me get it done. Also open to a skilled labourer coming to help for a day, can give tasks and instruct (I know how to build).

1 year old deck. needs restaining if possible product that can last longer. Currently stained with Cabots water base stain-Merbau + polyurethane seal. which did not really last long. Hi there, I’m looking for a reliable handyman or carpenter for two small repair jobs at my home in East Bentleigh: 1️⃣ Window sill repair (indoor) – A small section of timber on the internal window sill has bubbled/warped from past moisture. The leak has been fixed. It already has paint, so no repainting is required — just need the damaged section repaired or replaced (see photo). 2️⃣ Fence repair (front yard) – A few timber fence panels are cracked, warped, or have small damaged sections at the bottom edge. The fence is generally solid but needs some small repairs and reinforcement (see photos). Please include materials in your quote or advise if you prefer I supply them. Flexible with timing — anytime this week works.

Carpentry work, VJ panelling and some cupboards, shelves. Planning to put fire place at the bottom so will need to be around that.
