Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced in minor carpentry and painting to repair several damaged skirting board corners in my apartment. My puppy has chewed the corners of approximately four skirting boards. The damaged sections will likely need to be rebuilt/filled, sanded, shaped to match the original profile, and then repainted so they blend in with the existing skirting boards. I’m looking for a high-quality finish that makes the repairs as unnoticeable as possible. Please bring any tools and materials required, or let me know if anything needs to be provided. Skirting board has some water damage to part. Rough estimate on length would be about 2 meters. Job requires replacement of skirting board to match current. I do occasionally work from home, typically on a Monday or Friday. Will try be flexible on date.

Hi I need a skilled carpenter to install an internal door for me. I also need a skirting board replaced. I’ve already purchased a door (not pre hung) hinges and the skirting. Door handles to be swapped from previous door. If possible putty to also be applied to the small part of damaged door frame (I don’t have any putty you would need to bring). Please have insurance.

I have timber rot in the lower section of an external ground floor door frame (bottom of the jamb on one side). The timber is soft and needs to be properly cut out and repaired or replaced. There is also a section of internal skirting board nearby that needs replacing to match the existing profile.
