Skirting boards repair and painted.

I am getting floardboards installed and need help to reapply skirting boards. This may involve getting new skirting or using previous. In first floor apartment, all rooms except bathroom, bedrooms x 2. Door frames stay as is. Carpenters / experience necessary.

I need a handyman or carpenter to replace water-damaged skirting boards around the corners of window. The boards have swollen due to moisture and need to be removed and replaced.

There are some damages from a recent water seepage on skirting boards and floorboards. For the skirting board, the width should be around 1-1.5cm, the height is around 6cm. The length should probably be around 2-3 meters. Ideally I want it to be painted than replaced. The builder said it just needs to be painted with stain blocker or something. For the floorboards, we should be able to source them from our builder but may take time, as it is hard to reach the builder, so it might be another job if we need to replace them. Otherwise I was thinking if we can polish/sand the engineered wood. Another thing is, the builder also mentioned to replace the board underneath the sliding door, which is a 110x18mm MDF board.

We need some skirting boards put up 3 cupboards and 2 sides of a bedroom

I have timber rot in the lower section of an external ground floor door frame (bottom of the jamb on one side). The timber is soft and needs to be properly cut out and repaired or replaced. There is also a section of internal skirting board nearby that needs replacing to match the existing profile. Scope: - Cut out and replace rotten section of door jamb - Replace damaged internal skirting board (ideally is but doesn’t need to be a perfect match) - Leave ready for painting The door opens onto a brick-paved courtyard. There may be moisture contributing to the damage, so I’m looking for someone experienced who can advise on the correct long-term fix. This is an older solid brick home in Melbourne. Please respond only if you: - Are a qualified carpenter or experienced in timber frame repairs - Have replaced door jamb sections before - Can splice timber neatly rather than patching with filler Happy for a site visit before quoting.
