We have an 18 year old Miele W 502 washing machine. Washing machine cycle goes through the "Main wash" cycle but when it gets to the "Rinses" cycle, the "Check Inlet" warning starts flashing and the machine stops its wash cycle. My husband has already done the basic troubleshooting and disconnected the inlet hose from both ends (ie. from mains tap and from washing machine) to check for any blockages (and there were none). The filters and hose seals were then brushed and cleaned (they were already pretty clean), placed back into the Inlet hose and reconnected to mains tap and washing machine No issues with water pressure either from mains tap. Tested this by placing a measuring mug under the tap.

Rajapaksha is very experienced with white goods appliances and was able to diagnose the issue we had with our washing machine.

Rangehood extractor fan dripping oil (even when off

My kitchen rangehood extractor fan is dripping a significant amount of oil, even when it’s not in use. The fan itself still runs normally, but oil leaks from the centre of the unit and collects on the cooktop. The issue may be due to blocked filters, ducting problems, or internal grease buildup. I am not sure. I need an experienced technician to inspect, clean, and repair it properly.

Erick did an amazing job repairing my kitchen fan extractor! The previous installation was poorly done, but he sorted it out quickly, reinforced everything, and made it look brand new. He even cleaned up afterward — spotless and sparkling. Couldn’t ask for more. 👍👍
