Refrigerated Shipping Container / Cold Room Technician - Carrier Reefer Job description: We have a refrigerated shipping container that has been converted into a cold room at our warehouse in Boronia VIC 3155. The unit is fitted with a Carrier Micro-Link 3 controller. The system has been serviced previously and the humidity sensor was also replaced recently. However, after some changes to the controller/settings, we are experiencing two problems: 1. Very high electricity consumption The unit has recently been operating almost continuously, 24/7, and our electricity cost for the last month was over $2,000. Previously, the running cost was significantly lower. We would like an experienced refrigeration/reefer technician to inspect the system and determine why it is running so much, check the controller configuration and optimise the settings to bring electricity consumption back to a reasonable level without compromising the required temperature. 2. Humidity control The room is used mainly for storing dry food products such as dried fruits. Humidity has been staying above approximately 70% RH despite adjustments to the humidity settings. Our preferred humidity level would ideally be around 20% RH. We need the technician to determine whether this is achievable with the existing equipment and, if not, advise what additional work or equipment would be required. We would like the technician to check: - Carrier Micro-Link 3 controller settings and configuration - Humidity/dehumidification settings - Temperature and humidity sensors - Compressor and fan operation - Defrost settings/cycles - Whether the unit is running unnecessarily or continuously Location: Boronia VIC 3155 We are looking for a qualified refrigeration technician, ideally someone with experience servicing refrigerated shipping containers/reefers and Carrier systems.

The cooktop powers on normally and the display works, but the touch controls are not very responsive after reinstallation. I believe the control board is not positioned correctly under the glass and needs to be aligned or refitted properly.
