Modify Kitchen Cupboards for Dishwasher a I’m installing a 45 cm dishwasher and a slimline front-loading washing machine under my kitchen benchtop (see attached photos). The sink will be replaced with a single bowl that fits the current cut-out size, creating space for: • Washing machine on the left • Dishwasher on the right I need an experienced cabinetmaker, carpenter, or handyman to complete the following work: Tasks: • Cut out the shelf, base shelf, and remove kickboard under the bench to make space for both appliances. • Modify the two cupboards on the right — one to be removed completely and the other trimmed down slightly. • Reapply the existing laminate trim I’ve already peeled off. • Cut the under-bench edge so the dishwasher and washing machine fit properly. • After the washing machine is installed, refit the kickboard neatly in front. • Install two side panels to contain the dishwasher and washing machine (I don’t have the panels). Appliance Dimensions: • Washing Machine: Height 850 mm | Width 600 mm | Depth 535 mm • Dishwasher: Height 866 mm | Width 488 mm | Depth 605 mm Notes: • Benchtop and single sink remain in place. • Plumbing and electrical will be handled separately. • Please bring tools suitable for laminate cabinetry. Location: Cooks Hill, Newcastle NSW Timing: Flexible. In 2-3 weeks please let me know I also have other handyman jobs around the, so I’m ideally looking for someone reliable who could help with those as well. My Fisher and Paykel top loader 7.5kg washing machine keeps saying "No Tap" every cycle. No cycle works on its own - I need to manually push it through once it starts beeping. I thought it was a water supply issue but ive had a plumber check to no avail.
Glenn was great with communication and was over earlier than expected. He identified the parts I needed and sent them through saving time. Am planning to have Glenn back over once im ready to install.
