Location: Bankstown, NSW ​Task Description: I am looking for a licensed gas plumber to replace my current Fisher & Paykel gas cooktop with a new unit. ​Please note the following details for the job: ​Safely disconnect and remove the existing Fisher & Paykel gas cooktop. ​Install and connect the new gas cooktop. ​Test the gas line and ensure the new unit is fully operational. ​Important: My oven situated underneath is also a Fisher & Paykel model, but it is not being replaced. It needs to remain in place and undisturbed during the cooktop installation. ​Dispose of the old cooktop and any packaging from the new unit. ​Please confirm you are fully licensed and can provide a compliance certificate upon completion.

Need to get the old gas cooktop removed and new one installed.

Uninstall old gas stove and replace with new gas stove. Gasfitter qualification will be required. Thursday and Friday afternoons preferred for installation times. Can also do the weekend if that suits better. Thank you.

Stove top burner isn’t working. Doesn’t make a clicking sound when turning the knobs but gas works fine. Can be lit manually with a lighter.

Bosch 4-burner gas cooktop with a faulty control knob/valve mechanism. One of the burner knobs has become stuck in the depressed position. The knob can still rotate and the burner can be turned on and off, however the push-to-ignite mechanism does not return to its normal position. Symptoms: Knob/spindle remains pushed down after being pressed. Continuous ignition clicking/sparking occurs because the ignition switch appears to remain activated. Burner operation otherwise appears normal. No noticeable gas smell. Issue appears to be related to the internal spring/return mechanism within the control assembly. Additional Information: I have removed the knob and confirmed the spindle does not spring back up as it should. I attempted to inspect the cooktop but some retaining screws appear seized/stripped due to age and heat exposure. Looking for diagnosis and repair of the control valve, spring mechanism, or ignition switch as required.

Gas Cooktop Repair – Gas Valve Stuck Open One of the gas burner control valves on our cooktop has failed and is stuck in the open position. The affected burner is the top right burner. When the gas supply is turned on, gas flows continuously from this burner regardless of the knob position. For safety, the gas has been isolated at the mains. Persistent gas smell coming from inside a Bosch freestanding gas stove I checked the external gas connections with soapy water and could not find any visible leaks. The smell seems to be coming from inside the appliance rather than the external pipe connection Would like a licensed gas fitter / gas appliance technician to inspect the stove and internal gas connections for possible leak or valve issue.
