Hi, I have a dark burn/heat mark on my stone kitchen splashback next to the gas cooktop, as shown in the photos. I have already tried cleaning it with normal stone-safe cleaning products, but the mark has not come off. I am looking for someone experienced in stone restoration/repair who can assess the damage and remove or reduce the burn/soot mark as much as possible. Please only apply if you have experience repairing heat/burn marks on stone or engineered stone. I would prefer a professional finish without damaging or changing the surrounding stone. I need to replace a 60 cm gas cooktop at my home in Winston Hills. The existing cut-out is: Width: 545 mm Depth: 465 mm The new cooktop requires a cut-out of: Width: 560 mm Depth: 490 mm Therefore, the existing stone cut-out will need to be enlarged by approximately 15 mm in width and 25 mm in depth. I need a plumber to do this job, including enlarging the stone cut-out and installing the new gas cooktop.

Stove top burner isn’t working. Doesn’t make a clicking sound when turning the knobs but gas works fine. Can be lit manually with a lighter. Also need light switch that has fallen off in bathroom re-attached.
