Hi, I need help with my Bosch gas cooktop. One of the burners can’t ignite — there’s no clicking or spark sound when I turn the knob, but gas is still coming out, and I can light it manually with a lighter. The issue started after some water spilled over that burner a few weeks ago. Other burners are working fine. I think the ignition switch under that knob might be damaged or needs replacement.

To Install the following items; Install and a new twin basin sink and connect to the existing utility pipe or if needed change configuration to fit, sealing gaps and securing sink to the benchtop. (Rangehood as per photos) Install a 900mm gas cooktop and connect to existing gas outlet or if necessary configure to fit and using appliance-grade silicone sealant to secure cooktop to the benchtop. All works to come with a warranty and trade person to be fully licenced and insured. This job is inclusive of parts to be supplied by trade person which will be some PVC pipes for the sink and a gas hose for the cooktop.

Leave safe and compliant for future inspection. Provide compliance paperwork. Also handle all electrical work. hard-wire the unit, and install an isolator if required. Verify clearances and add a heat deflector if needed. Provide compliance certificate. I can provide the induction cooktop. 15 meters to electrical switchboard. Replacing gas to cooktop should just fit in the bench but bench may need cutting. It is the correct size.

My old gas cooktop has stopped working properly. I have purchased a replacement and need someone remove the old and install the new one (as pictured in box). The old cooktop igniter has stopped working - however given its old and dirty i want to replace the whole thing. I can use a lighter to get the gas burning and gas flow is perfectly fine. Should mean no other parts require servicing. Must dispose of the old one also.
