I’m project-managing a bit of a kitchen renovation. I’m getting new benchtop installed but before I can do that, will need a licenced plumber or gasfitter to disconnect my gas stove. Current stove top is 60cm standard size. I will ultimately need a new gas stove installed once the bench goes in, but this quote will be just for disconnect at this stage. I can discuss other plumbing work to be done as part of the bench install. Regarding timing - I won’t need this done until mid-November as am working around scheduling bench install. The spring in the bathroom sink plug is no longer releasing. I pushed it down, but it is now unable to pop back up. The cooktop ignition is also not turning on, although the gas is still working.

I need my induction hob removed and a gas cooker top installed. There is gas underneath. The tops are the same size.

Gas stove turns on then after a 5 seconds the flame slows down and stops. Stove is about 10 years old Bosch natural gas. Need an experienced gas planner who has seen this issue before who can resolve it. A small blade looking piece appears to be missing on one of them. Not sure if that’s causing issue
