Intermittent pull-out rangehood – inspect and repair My kitchen pull-out rangehood above the stove is working intermittently. When the rangehood is pulled out, the exhaust fan sometimes turns on and works normally, but at other times it doesn’t start or stops during use. I’m looking for someone experienced with rangehood/appliance repairs to inspect and diagnose the issue and repair it if possible. It may be the pull-out switch/contact, fan motor or another electrical/mechanical issue, but this hasn’t been diagnosed. The rangehood does not need replacement unless inspection shows that it cannot reasonably be repaired. Budget: $120 for diagnosis and repair labour. If replacement parts are required, I’m happy to discuss the additional cost before proceeding. Please let me know if you have experience repairing pull-out rangehoods.

Got a Bosch washing machine I bought in 2019. Used it for 3 years, then it’s been sitting in garage for another 3 years. A plumber connected it up for me again and confirmed no leaks. Only issue now is that I can’t remove the filter - it’s stuck. I don’t want to force it open, just need someone who knows their way around these to take the front panel off and remove the item causing the filter to be stuck.

Wondering if someone could help me please I bought a Turbo Line 9D270-98E 7kg dryer off Marketplace and unfortunately once I got it home I realised that one of the three prongs on the power plug has completely snapped off (see photo). I believe the plug itself can be replaced, but I understand I need a licensed electrician to replace the plug on the dryer cord safely. Is there anyone local who could help me with this please?
