I’m looking for a handyman, builder or bricklayer to alter and replace an existing external door at my property in Cheltenham. I’m having a raised deck installed and want to raise the existing doorway so the new door opens directly onto the deck, without an intermediate step. The works will involve: * Removing the existing door, frame and hinges. * Removing the brick panel currently above the door and rebuilding the brickwork below the new opening, reusing existing bricks where possible. * Replacing the existing lintel, including any necessary structural support. * Installing a new external door, frame, hinges, and threshold. * Completing all necessary mortar work, flashing, weatherproofing and making good. The intention is to raise the doorway by approximately the height of the existing brick panel, subject to confirming the available clearance and final deck elevation. The decking will be installed by a separate contractor at approximately the same time, so the finished levels will need to be coordinated. Please provide a quote inclusive of labour and materials, including the new hardware. I will arrange for the door itself. I can provide photos and arrange a site inspection. Remove existing external double French doors and frame that open inward and replace with an aluminium bi fold door system. New frame will match existing frame. (Dimensions 1810 wide x 2120 height). Looking for a handyman to fix a sliding barn door that is uneven, has a gap at the bottom and makes noise when opening and closing. Need someone to adjust it so it is level and slides smoothly.

Front door looks like door is swelling and needs a very firm push to close each time.

Fix shower door. The top Hinge is loose and slipping and making the door hard to open and have small space only to enter the shower. Need to change the hinge to make the fix permanent. It should look tight like the bottom one. Ensure the new hinge matches the cutout style and glass thickness. Must be a qualified person with experience and explain the part to replace, how it's going to be done, and how much the fair cost break down.

The sliding door has become loose and they go off the rail and I need somebody to fix the issue so we can close the actual sliding door as it does not lock into place causing us not to be able to open our doors in good weather

Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced to remove and replace two internal door handles at my home in Altona North. The replacement door handles will be supplied - I just need assistance removing the existing handles, chipping the right dimension and installing the new ones correctly. One of the existing handles appears to be slightly jammed, and I wasn’t able to remove it myself, so some additional care may be required with that one! Thanks!

Bathroom door is slightly out of alignment and cannot be locked because of so.
