I need an experienced handyman to remove the metal handrail/bar shown in the attached photos. It is fixed to an exterior brick wall beside a small set of outdoor steps. The task includes: Carefully removing the complete metal bar and its wall brackets. Removing or cutting the existing screws/anchors without unnecessarily damaging the bricks. Leaving the area clean and tidy. You can use the existing bit to put the debris and unwanted items. Access is straightforward, although the handrail is positioned beside the steps. I am very flexible with timing. You can attend at any time on any day this week or next week.

Hi, looking for experienced carpenter/handyperson to reverse the swing direction for two bedroom doors, so they swing into the room from the opposite side. So they change from right handed to left handed (and vice versa) to allow them to swing open against the adjoining wall instead of into the entry space of the room. One door is approx 76cm wide the other is approx 81.5cm wide. Involves measuring door to ensure swap is possible, relocating the hinges to the opposite side of the jamb, swapping the strike plate position, flipping and trimming doors as needed to ensure square alignment and balanced hang. Looking for old mortises to be filled with solid wood patches for a flush surface ready for painting (painting will be done later). Looking for someone experienced in this type of work, examples or pictures of similar previous work a bonus. Price is a starting point please quote what is needed for labour and materials (not sure if new hinges are required- current are older and have layers of paint). A nail hooked onto the edge of our white wooden door (looks like its made of mdf or similar) and we need someone to fill the hole in and match the white paint so it looks good as new. Handyman needs to supply all their own equipment for the job.

The exterior door is jammed & can not be opened after installing floorboards. It needs to be trimmed underneath with a circular saw or something similar. Currently blocked off with a peice of wood & screw but can be removed easily to trim underneath the door.

Door to be fixed, The hinges are good, Door doesnt close fully due to few excess cm. The board plank of one side of door is loose and have come off, i think it was itinitally stuck on. Please come have a quick look and give me a quick reasonable quote.
