Looking for an experienced handyman/installer to repair a pivot shower screen door. The shower screen door is no longer functioning properly because the top and bottom pivot/hinge mechanisms have broken. As a result, the door has become detached from the frame. I would like someone to: • Inspect the shower door and assess the damage. • Advise on suitable alternative replacement parts that could be used instead of the original hinges/pivots. • Source and fit the replacement parts, or advise which parts I should purchase (e.g. from Amazon or another supplier). • Repair and reinstall the door with new hinges, including full installation of any new hardware required. Location: Leigh-on-Sea. Please note that I have already contacted the original manufacturer, who advised that this shower screen model has been discontinued and replacement hinges are no longer available. The original pivot hinges are integrated into the frame, so any alternative solution may require drilling and fitting new hardware to the top and bottom of the frame while ensuring the door operates safely and correctly.
