Looking for an experienced plumber to diagnose and fix a drainage issue in our kitchen. Issue: Whenever the washing machine runs and drains, the wastewater backs up into the dishwasher. The washing machine and dishwasher appear to be connected to the same waste/drainage system. What needs to be done: * Inspect the shared waste pipe/trap and appliance connections * Check for any blockage or incorrect hose positioning/installation * Identify why the washing machine wastewater is flowing into the dishwasher * Fix the issue properly and ensure both appliances drain correctly without backing up

I have an ongoing strong sewage/drain smell coming from my utility room where the washing machine is located. It is particularly noticeable when the washing machine is running. Tumble dryer currently isn’t plumbed in so I have to keep emptying the waste water drawer. I’d like it to share the waste water pipe with the washing machine next to it using a y fitting.

The job is straightforward but requires two people because of the weight of the dryer (52 kg). The work involves: * Lift the 52 kg tumble dryer from its current position and place it securely on top of the metal frame. * Slightly lift/reposition the washing machine so that I can remove the existing base/platform underneath it. * Roll the new wheeled metal frame into position over/around the washing machine, so the washing machine sits underneath the frame and the dryer sits on top. I will completely empty the utility room beforehand, so there will be clear access and no shelving/items in the way. The appliances do not need to be transported anywhere — this is purely lifting and repositioning them within the same small utility room.

* A suitable hole/core drilled through the external wall behind/near the washing machine. * New waste pipework installed from the washing machine through the external wall. * The pipe to run externally to the existing drain/gully, which is approximately 0.5 metres from the washing machine. * All necessary additional waste pipe, fittings, bends, connectors and fixings supplied and installed. * Correct fall on the new waste pipe so that it drains properly.

Hi, I need someone to remove a broken integrated washing machine and prepare the space for a replacement freestanding washing machine. The existing machine is an integrated Candy washing machine fitted under the kitchen worktop. Appliance installers have advised that they cannot remove the integrated unit themselves and have asked me to arrange this before they can install the new machine. The job would include: • Disconnecting and removing the existing integrated washing machine. • Checking the clearance under the worktop and removing or adjusting any trim, panel, bracket, or fitting above the machine if required to allow a standard freestanding washing machine to fit. • Taking away and disposing of the old machine. • Leaving the water, waste, and electrical connections ready for the new appliance installer. I’ve got a new washing machine which needs to be installed. The old one is still here and is hard wired into the wall rather than a plug and would require the same with the new washing machine

Looking for a plumber to install a proper cold water feed valve for a washing machine. There is an existing cold water pipe in place, but it does not currently have a standard threaded outlet suitable for a washing machine hose. The job is to fit a suitable isolation valve with a 3/4" threaded connection. The waste pipe is already in place. Access is straightforward (see photo).
