Bath Resurfacing / Repair – Central Base I’m looking for an experienced professional to repair and resurface the central base/floor area of my bath, which has become worn/damaged. The work would involve: - Assessing the damaged area and preparing the surface. - Repairing any chips, cracks, or surface deterioration. - Resurfacing/re-enamelling the central base so it is smooth, durable and watertight. - Matching the existing bath finish as closely as possible. - Leaving the area clean and ready for normal use once fully cured. I need help with a 3 mounting and 1 shower floor repair tasks . 1) Mounting a TV to the wall. I already have the TV mount and have included photos. 2) Mounting two laundry drying racks to the wall. 3) Securing an IKEA PAX wardrobe to the wall. 4) Repairing and resealing the concrete shower floor. Most of the walls appear to be drywall with studs nearby. I would appreciate advice on what fixings or materials I should have ready, or if you prefer to bring your own. For the shower, the sealant on the concrete floor has started peeling near the drain. I would like the remaining sealant to be sanded back so the surface is smooth, then a fresh coat applied. I already have the sealant and the tools for applying it, but I do not have anything suitable for sanding the old coating off. Please share your quote, estimated time required, and anything else you need from me before the job.

A section of external textured render along the bottom of an exterior wall has cracked, come loose and started to break away. There is a fairly long open separation along the lower edge, with some areas already missing. I am looking for an experienced renderer/external plasterer to carry out a proper localised repair, including: Check/tap the surrounding render and identify any loose or hollow areas. Remove all loose or failed render back to a sound edge. Prepare the exposed background properly. Repair the damaged lower strip and corner area. Use suitable external base/render coats and reinforcing mesh where appropriate. Match the existing textured finish as closely as reasonably possible. Ensure the wall/flat-roof junction is left properly weatherproof. Protect the existing flat-roof covering during the work. Remove all debris afterwards. I am not looking for the cracks simply to be filled with silicone/filler — I want the loose render properly removed and repaired. Access: The affected area is immediately above a flat roof and should be relatively straightforward to access, potentially by ladder/tower and working from the flat-roof area. I am hoping full scaffolding will not be necessary, but the tradesperson should assess and provide whatever safe access arrangements are appropriate. Please include any access equipment and protection of the flat roof within the quote. Please quote for labour, materials, access and waste removal all included. Location: Dagenham I would ideally like the work completed during August or September. Please only respond if you have experience with external render repairs. Hi, We’re looking for an experienced electrician to carry out and finish a few electrical jobs at our property in Poplar, E14. 1. Finish 6kW garden sauna installation (main job) The sauna cable installation has already been started. Here’s the current progress: * SWA cable has been run from the garden sauna to the exterior wall of the property. * We’ve found we’re slightly short on the SWA cable, so the proposed solution is to terminate it externally in a weatherproof junction box and joint it to twin & earth cable. * The twin & earth cable would then be run neatly inside white mini trunking along the corridor back to the consumer unit in the laundry room. * The aim is a safe, tidy, and compliant installation with minimal disruption. We already have all the required materials on site. We simply need the installation completed to a high standard with neat cable routing. 2. Outdoor socket / hot tub issue We also have an outdoor socket that appears to be connected, but the hot tub won’t operate from it. It reports an earth/ground fault, so we’d like someone to diagnose whether this is an earthing issue, wiring fault, or something else. 3. Garden pond We also have a garden pond with a brand-new filter system that isn’t working. It may simply be a power supply or fuse issue, but we’d appreciate someone taking a look while on site. I’d suggest coming to view the property first, assessing all three jobs, and then providing a quotation. For the sauna installation, my budget is around £200, although I’m happy to discuss the additional work separately once you’ve inspected everything.
