Hi, I’m looking for help with a driveway gate near DA2 A long metal strip/edge trim has come away from the side of the gate. The gate has electric automation, and since this happened the gate appears to be opening/closing incorrectly, so we have stopped using the automation for now. I’ve attached two photos showing the issue. I’m looking for someone experienced in decorating/plaster repairs to make good and repaint two areas that were damaged by a water leak from the flat above. The source of the leak has now been fixed and the affected areas have been dry for several months. Work required: * Assess the damaged areas and recommend the appropriate repair. * Remove any loose paint, filler or plaster. * Make good the surface as required. * Apply stain-blocking treatment if needed. * Repaint to leave a neat finish. Affected areas: 1. Bathroom ceiling corner above shower (approximately 0.5m²). 2. Wall in adjacent room with peeling/blown paint and minor surface damage (approximately 1m²). Repair damaged plasterboard and plaster skim above a window following curtain pole fixings failing and pulling away from the wall. Area to be filled/repaired, skimmed smooth, sanded and ready for painting. Curtain pole also to be installed once drywall is dry.

I have an older Somfy RTS articulated patio awning. Remote and motor functioning. Extend command produces motor noise but Retract command won't move the roller or the fabric. The awning is stuck fully extended and the fabric has gone slack. I need advice from someone experienced with motorised awnings/Somfy systems to diagnose and ideally carry out an initial repair or re-tensioning if possible.

Built in wardrobe door broken wardrobe doors have come off the hinges.

Old Mitsubishi car (2004), passenger door needs to be taken off, metal/steel plate needs to be welded on, door put back and attached to the metal/steel plate. It doesn’t need to be beautiful but I think you need a gas welder for this kind of work. We have had this work done already in the driver side - please see picture.
