Hi, We’re looking for an experienced electrician to carry out and finish a few electrical jobs at our property in Poplar, E14. 1. Finish 6kW garden sauna installation (main job) The sauna cable installation has already been started. Here’s the current progress: * SWA cable has been run from the garden sauna to the exterior wall of the property. * We’ve found we’re slightly short on the SWA cable, so the proposed solution is to terminate it externally in a weatherproof junction box and joint it to twin & earth cable. * The twin & earth cable would then be run neatly inside white mini trunking along the corridor back to the consumer unit in the laundry room. * The aim is a safe, tidy, and compliant installation with minimal disruption. We already have all the required materials on site. We simply need the installation completed to a high standard with neat cable routing. 2. Outdoor socket / hot tub issue We also have an outdoor socket that appears to be connected, but the hot tub won’t operate from it. It reports an earth/ground fault, so we’d like someone to diagnose whether this is an earthing issue, wiring fault, or something else. 3. Garden pond We also have a garden pond with a brand-new filter system that isn’t working. It may simply be a power supply or fuse issue, but we’d appreciate someone taking a look while on site. I’d suggest coming to view the property first, assessing all three jobs, and then providing a quotation. For the sauna installation, my budget is around £200, although I’m happy to discuss the additional work separately once you’ve inspected everything. Looking for a handy person to repair/re-attach the protective front heat shield/grille on an infrared sauna heater in Westminster. Task Details: The front protective guard on the sauna heater panel has come loose/detached on one side. Needs to be securely refitted, properly tightened, and fixed back into place. We are looking for an experienced and reliable tradesperson or small team to assist with the completion of an already assembled outdoor sauna installation. The work required includes: * Levelling and stabilising the sauna unit * Fitting and securing roofing felt/tarp * Tidying and finishing roof edges where minor adjustments are needed The sauna is already fully built on site; this is a remedial and finishing job rather than a full installation. I am looking to put outdoor sauna in my garden. It needs a solid base so that it can last many years from now. The sauna is 1.5 m x 2m so the base will need to be a bit bigger (min 1.7 x2.2m).

Need a qualified electrician to connect a 4.5kW sauna heater (BC45, 230V single phase) to an existing dedicated sauna circuit. Most of the heavy lifting has already been done by a previous electrician - the circuit is already installed and live in the consumer unit (B32 MCB on its own breaker labelled “SAUNA”), cable has been run from the board to the sauna room, and a Contactum rotary isolator switch is already mounted on the wall. The issue is the previous electrician hardwired the infrared sauna panels but didn’t connect the main stone heater, which has its own separate cable with crimped terminals that needs wiring in. The heater is already in position and ready to go - it just needs connecting to the existing circuit, either into the isolator or junction box that’s already there. Photos attached show the existing isolator and cable run, the consumer unit with the dedicated sauna breaker, the heater’s cable/terminals, and the heater unit itself. Happy to discuss on-site but it should be a relatively quick job given everything is already in place.
