Hi, I’m looking for help with a driveway gate near DA2 A long metal strip/edge trim has come away from the side of the gate. The gate has electric automation, and since this happened the gate appears to be opening/closing incorrectly, so we have stopped using the automation for now. I’ve attached two photos showing the issue. Old Mitsubishi car (2004), passenger door needs to be taken off, metal/steel plate needs to be welded on, door put back and attached to the metal/steel plate. It doesn’t need to be beautiful but I think you need a gas welder for this kind of work. We have had this work done already in the driver side - please see picture.
