I'm looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to install an FD30 fire door into an existing door frame at my property in the B66 area. I have already purchased the FD30 fire door. The task includes: Installing and correctly fitting the new FD30 fire door into the existing frame. Checking and adjusting the door frame and door clearances as necessary. Installing suitable fire-rated hinges and handles, if not already fitted. Fitting the appropriate intumescent strips and smoke seals where required. Ensuring the door closes properly and the installation meets the relevant fire safety requirements. Requirements: Previous experience installing FD30 fire doors. Please bring your own tools. Please confirm whether the £100 budget covers labour only and whether any additional materials would cost extra. Flexible with dates and times. The wardrobe is already fully assembled, so no assembly is required. The sliding doors are currently stuck and not moving properly. I just need someone to inspect the doors, identify what’s causing the issue, and fix/adjust the sliding mechanism so they open and close smoothly.
