I’m looking for someone experienced in garden preparation and turf laying to level and re-turf an area of my back garden. The area is approximately 9m x 6m. It has recently been cleared back, but the ground is uneven and still has some roots, loose soil, old vegetation, leaves, and debris that will need preparing properly before turf is laid. The job will include: Preparing and levelling the ground across the full area Removing remaining roots, weeds, loose debris and old vegetation as needed Adding/top dressing with suitable topsoil if required Compacting and preparing the soil for turf Supplying and laying fresh turf, or advising what turf/materials are needed if you prefer me to order them Ensuring the finished lawn is level and blends into the existing grass area There are a few small trees/shrubs that we want to keep, so care will be needed when working around them.
