I will supply all materials (gravel, weed membrane, timber edging, pins, turf, topsoil if needed, etc.) and basic tools. You’ll need to bring any specialist equipment like a plate compactor if you have one (or I can arrange rental). The job involves: clearing the area, installing pinned weed membrane and timber edging for the gravel section, spreading and compacting the gravel, preparing the soil, and laying + cutting turf for the rest. I need help preparing my garden for turf this Saturday. Background: * The garden is approximately 7.5 m x 8 m * A lot of the heavy clearing work has already been done * Most of the sifting has already been done * I have already removed a lot of stones and roots, so this is not a full garden clearance job * There is some sifted soil in bin bags that needs to be moved back into the garden and used for levelling * There is one large remaining root/stump area which has already been cut down a lot; reducing it further would be helpful but is not essential Main tasks: * move sifted soil from bin bags back into the garden * spread, level and firm the central lawn area so it is ready for turf * remove any weeds that have regrown and any obvious remaining roots/rubble in the lawn area * lay approx. 36 slabs (30 x 60 cm) in a set layout with approx. 5 cm gaps between them for grass Important: * I do not need the slabs laid as a permanent perfect patio * they just need to be set in the correct positions, at the correct depth/height for turf, reasonably level, and not rocking badly * the main priority is getting the central lawn area levelled, firmed, and ready for turf * I have 3 bags of sharp sand (25 kg each), 6 bags of peat-free topsoil (25L), 6 bags of peat-free multi-purpose compost (50L), a hand tamper, and sifted soil in bin bags

Owe have some Astro / artificial grass being delivered this morning and I’d like to find someone who can lay it. It’ll be straight on to paving, I also have the adhesive and adhesive hardener, the artificial grass will need to be cut around things like the shed. And the artificial grass is 58 foot in length and 5.5 foot in width so it will need to be cut in half and run twice and join together in the middle. Need someone with experience and who has done this before and has proof that they can do this.
