need help with laying underlay (sand), flattening the area, and laying turf

Is anyone able to "repair" an existing artificial turf installation? I have a couple of issues: 1. The turf is not flat. Some portions are higher than others. 2. The "joins" are too obvious and the gaps are getting wider each day 3. The edges are not smooth and on some sides the turf is starting to point upwards The turf was installed about 2 years ago and the person who did it is no longer in australia. I don't want the whole thing to be redone as obviously it will cost more. If the existing base can be retained and just "repaired" that would be great.

I am helping a friend prepare her mum’s house for sale - the lawn in the backyard needs to be partially or fully relaid before photos are taken by the real estate agent on Wednesday 13 March. You can see by the photos how the lawn is an odd shape but we think it’s 40 sq. metres. We are expecting $16 per sq. metre for the turf, but anything less would be appreciated. A receipt for the turf will need to be supplied. The job is to: - supply rolls of lawn (Buffalo or similar) to be paid for separately; - remove the old grass where needed; - lay the turf and water. We are just exhausted having done the entire house - this is the final step and would be grateful for your help.
