I have already purchased the artificial grass (5 m × 1.8 m) and 40 U-pegs to secure it. I have also removed the existing lawn, so the area is ready for preparation. We would need to purchase the appropriate weed mat and crushed rock, road base, or similar material for the base. I’m happy to cover the cost of all required materials separately. My budget for labour is $500, which would include purchasing the required materials from Bunnings, bringing them to the property, preparing the base, and installing the artificial grass. I need 1–2 people to move about 3.5 tons in total of turf underlay and metal dust soil from the front yard to the backyard. Access is flat concrete path (around 20 m), and at the end there are 3 steps down to the open lawn area. I need the underlay moved and roughly levelled on the ground.
